Regnet.AI Professional Network
Community Guidelines
1. Purpose of the Professional Network
The Regnet.AI Professional Network is a curated space for regulatory, legal, compliance, policy, and academic professionals to exchange informed insights on global regulatory developments.
The Professional Network exists to support:
- High-quality analysis and professional discussion
- Cross-jurisdictional perspectives
- Constructive, evidence-informed debate
The Network is designed to maintain a professional environment where participants can engage in thoughtful regulatory discussion and knowledge exchange. Regnet.AI may apply moderation, identity verification, or professional affiliation checks where appropriate in order to preserve the credibility and integrity of the community.
Contributors and commentators play an active role in shaping and maintaining the professional culture of the Network.
2. Core Participation Principles
All participation in the Professional Network is guided by the following principles.
A. Professionalism and Respect
Participants must maintain a collegial, courteous, and professional tone in all interactions.
Contributors should:
- Engage with ideas rather than individuals
- Avoid hostile, dismissive, or inflammatory language
- Assume good intent when interpreting the contributions of others
- Encourage constructive dialogue and intellectual exchange
The Professional Network supports respectful disagreement and thoughtful debate conducted in a professional manner.
B. Evidence-Informed Discussion
Where appropriate, contributors should reference legislation, regulatory instruments, case law, policy materials, or academic sources to support their insights.
Contributors should clearly distinguish between:
- Established law
- Professional interpretation or analysis
- Personal opinion
Where a contribution relates to a particular legal or regulatory framework, contributors should identify the relevant jurisdiction. This helps ensure that jurisdiction-specific interpretations are not presented as universally applicable and supports meaningful cross-jurisdictional discussion.
C. Ethical and Confidentiality Obligations
Contributors must not disclose confidential client information, sensitive commercial material, internal government information, or other non-public information obtained through professional roles.
All contributions must comply with the contributor's applicable professional, ethical, and legal obligations, including professional conduct rules governing legal, regulatory, or public sector practice.
3. How to Participate
This section outlines how contributors are expected to engage within the Professional Network.
A. Insights (Posts)
Insights should present a clear observation, analysis, or question related to regulatory developments.
Contributors are encouraged to:
- Share one clear idea or topic per post
- Write in a concise, structured, and purposeful manner
- Provide relevant context and references where appropriate
- Encourage discussion by inviting alternative views or interpretations
Insights may include commentary on regulatory developments, policy changes, enforcement trends, comparative regulatory analysis, or interpretive questions relevant to regulatory practice.
B. Comments
Comments should add meaningful value to the discussion.
This may include:
- Expanding on a point raised in the original post
- Providing additional sources or examples
- Offering alternative interpretations or comparative perspectives
Responses should remain focused, professional, and constructive.
Superficial responses that do not meaningfully contribute to the discussion should be avoided.
C. Reactions
Reactions may be used to acknowledge high-quality contributions and support a culture of professional recognition within the community.
4. What is Not Allowed
To protect the integrity and purpose of the Professional Network, the following content is not permitted.
Personal attacks or harassment
Content that targets, insults, threatens, or harasses any individual or group in a manner that creates an intimidating, hostile, or harmful environment is not permitted.
Unrelated political content
Discussion of regulatory policy, legislative developments, and regulatory reform is welcome where it contributes to professional analysis.
However, content promoting political parties, candidates, campaigns, or unrelated political advocacy is not permitted.
Commercial promotion
All contributions should advance the professional goals of the platform.
Content used primarily for advertising, commercial promotion, or self-promotion may be removed.
Contributors may reference their own research, publications, or institutional materials where doing so substantively contributes to the discussion.
Legal advice
Content shared on the Professional Network is intended for general informational and professional discussion purposes only.
Contributors must not present commentary in a manner that could reasonably be interpreted as personalised legal or professional advice directed to a specific individual or organisation.
Nothing shared on the platform should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
Misinformation or unsupported factual claims
Posting false or misleading information is not permitted.
Regnet.AI may remove content that presents inaccurate claims as facts, particularly where the information may cause harm or materially mislead regulatory analysis.
Synthetic, edited, or manipulated content that misrepresents real events without clear disclosure is also prohibited.
Confidential or sensitive information
Content that discloses personal, private, or confidential information, including non-public identifying details or sensitive information obtained through professional roles, is not permitted.
Use of AI in Contributions
Regnet.AI recognises that many professionals use AI tools as part of their research and drafting workflows.
AI tools may be used to assist in preparing contributions. However:
- AI tools must not replace independent professional judgment
- Contributors remain responsible for the accuracy and reasoning of their contributions
- Any authorities or sources cited must be independently verified
Where AI tools are materially used in generating an insight, Regnet.AI may encourage disclosure or transparency in order to maintain intellectual accountability within the community.
Automated Accounts and Bots
The Professional Network is intended for participation by human users.
The use of bots, automated accounts, AI agents, or scripted systems to create, submit, or interact with content on the platform is not permitted.
This restriction does not prevent the use of AI-assisted drafting tools where a human contributor authors, reviews, and remains responsible for the final content.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
Regnet.AI may remove any contribution that does not align with these Community Guidelines or that undermines the professional integrity of the Professional Network.
Content may be automatically hidden or reviewed through community reporting mechanisms.
Where appropriate, Regnet.AI may provide notice or an opportunity to clarify or amend content that raises concerns. However, Regnet.AI reserves the right to take immediate action where necessary to protect users, comply with applicable laws, or maintain the integrity of the platform.
Repeated or serious breaches of these Guidelines may result in:
- temporary suspension
- removal of posting privileges
- termination of access to the Professional Network
6. Responsibility for User-Submitted Content
All opinions, interpretations, and insights submitted by users are solely those of the individual contributor.
They do not represent the views of Regnet.AI.
Regnet.AI does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-submitted content and disclaims liability for any loss, damage, or reliance arising from it.
7. User Responsibility and Reliance
All users remain solely responsible for:
- their interpretation of any content accessed through the platform
- any reliance placed on user-submitted insights
- professional or commercial decisions made based on such content
8. Use of Contributions for AI Development
Insights, comments, and engagement within the Regnet.AI Professional Network may be used to support the ongoing development, improvement, and evaluation of Regnet's AI-driven features.
Contributors retain ownership of their original content and grant Regnet.AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and analyse contributions for the operation and improvement of Regnet.AI products and services.
This may include:
- improving the accuracy and relevance of regulatory analysis tools
- training models supporting summarisation, classification, and trend analysis
- enhancing AI systems designed to reflect professional reasoning, contextual nuance, and jurisdiction-specific expertise
Use of Professional Network contributions for AI development is subject to the following principles:
Purpose-limited use
Content is used solely to improve Regnet.AI products and services and to develop future AI features within the Regnet ecosystem.
No sale to third parties
Content contributed to the Professional Network will not be sold, licensed, or provided to third parties for independent AI training, data brokerage, or unrelated commercial exploitation.
Human-centred development
AI systems are designed to support professional judgment and regulatory analysis rather than replace them.
Respect for contributor rights
Contributors retain ownership of their content. Regnet.AI will take reasonable steps to ensure that the use of contributions for AI development remains consistent with the intellectual property provisions of these Guidelines and Regnet's Terms of Use.
Where feasible, contributors may request removal of their content from future AI training cycles.
Promotional Use
Regnet.AI may reference, excerpt, or showcase insights from the Professional Network for promotional, educational, or illustrative purposes, including marketing and platform communications.
Such use will be contextual, non-misleading, and will not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.
